Mr. Bushara Dosa, President of the Darfur People's Association of New York, is walking 75 laps with us on October 26th.
Bushara is the current president and one of the founders of Darfur Peoples Association of New York, a Brooklyn-based non for-profit organization, championing for the causes of the Darfuri people. He was born in the United States but his family is originally from Darfur. He lived there during his childhood and traveled all over Darfur and Sudan. Mr. Dosa became an activist because he saw problems emerging in his homeland, the current crisis in Darfur. He still looks for his family in Darfur and stays connected.
